Conducted global review for Fortune 40 retail company to enable the design and implementation of the Office of the Chief Compliance Officer.

Served as Outside General Counsel for healthcare client as we developed compliance programs to enable national expansion and prepared for 3rd party investment.

Drafted policies and procedures to address the complex regulations facing retail client and developed training programs to effectuate compliance.

Established investor relations programs for NYSE and Nasdaq listed clients.

Prepared required SEC filings and managed disclosure practices for NYSE-listed client.

Negotiated deferred prosecution agreements with the Department of Justice and Securities Exchange Commission that enabled client to avoid bankruptcy.

Counseled Executive Leadership on response and negotiations following ransomware attack.

Performed internal investigations into employee, vendor, and other third-party claims for global retail company.

Guided Board of Directors and Executive Team through negotiated resolutions with shareholder seeking to effectuate change in company practices.

Lee Reeves established MLR Consulting after working with law firms, start-up companies, investment banks, Fortune 40 corporations, and family-owned businesses for over 25 years. As Chief Legal Officer, Lee designed, built, and managed the legal and compliance functions for companies operating across multiple industries. His career was founded on an ability to leverage his legal training and business acumen into solutions that are operationally sound and effective. Clients value his integrity and commitment to make certain all issues, both good and bad, are brought to the table.

 

Lee brings a legacy of guiding organizations through increasingly aggressive regulatory environments and challenging business landscapes. Having served as the General Counsel and Secretary for a public company facing multiple consumer class actions, government investigations, and an uncertain future, he is skilled in leading and advising during times of extreme pressure.

 

Lee understands the requirements necessary to ensure an effective design and implementation of major change initiatives. As an executive who successfully transformed corporate environments, business operations, and customer experiences, Lee has the perspective needed to make certain all constituents are aligned on critical project elements.
